Tigran Hovhannisyan
Tigran Hovhannisyan is our Yerevan based Financial Advisor. Dr. Hovhannisyan received an MBA in Finance and Information and Operational Management (Financial Engineering) from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. He also earned his PhD in Theoretical and Plasma Physics from Yerevan State University in Armenia. Dr. Hovhannisyan has extensive experience analyzing companies and industries, including in the energy sector. Dr. Hovhannisyan has built a well-earned reputation as an analyst in the Eurasia region for more than two decades. He has worked in senior analytical roles for some of the leading banks and investment companies, including a number of top regional and global banks. These include HSBC, VTB, MDM, Troika Dialog/Sberbank, Bank of Moscow, and Uralsib Capital. He also served as an advisor to Ukrgas Group in Ukraine, where he negotiated with EU banks and developed strategies for optimizing cash flows connected with the import of gas and export of agricultural products. Dr. Hovhannisyan speaks fluent English and Russian, in addition to his native Armenian.
